Sonic Bloom Project

The Sonic Bloom Project in Seattle, USA is commissioned by the Pacific Science Center. The project composes of 5 flowers: 20 feet each in diameter and up to 40 feet tall. These flowers feature steel, fiberglass, custom photo voltaic cells, LED's, sensors, interactive sound system and energy data monitoring. The installation takes place at the foot of the famous Seattle Space Needle. Kiboworks was chosen as the lighting system firm to lead the project on the lighting side and Orbit Optotech Inc. was chosen to be the LED lighting supplier. The flowers are lighted up by Orbit's Mars Dots controlled by Kiboworks's Mutt Controller. These fixtures help provide the colorful array of lights that serves as the focal piece of the Pacific Science Center.
